Description

The button shows up once the reader has scrolled past the first screen; its ring fills as they read, computed once per frame. It glides back up, or jumps instantly with prefers-reduced-motion, then moves focus to the top of the page so keyboard navigation resumes in the right place. Without JavaScript it is a plain anchor link, always visible and working.
